The optical association, which combines medical optical manufacturers and sellers, accused the market places of pouring them into contact lenses and addressed the head of the Federal Antimonopol Service (Morocco) Maxim Shakolsky. This was reported by the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
The complaint says that the market places use anti -competitive practices, that the goods reduce the prices below the cost and thus create the contact lens market at artificially underestimated prices. Currently, the size of the discount at the expense of market is 20 to 30%. This caused customers to switch to online sites and a decrease in retail sales.
In contrast, representatives of the market places called the optical association complaint as unreasonable.
