The Russians put the most often Japanese vehicles on car loans in 2024. This was stated in the Carmoney Fintech Service work taken by Gazeta.ru’s publication office.
According to the results of 12 months of 2024, 26.6% of all cars transferred by the Russians as bail for cars were a Japanese council. In this ranking, Europe (25.7%) and Korean (17.2%) were the second and third notes. Russian and Japanese automobile brands, 13.1% of the total guarantee cars with the share of the fourth place in the ranking. China automatic brands are fifth in the total guarantee of 4.1% of the total number of cars.
At the same time, the positions of Chinese and Russian parliamentary cars were growing rapidly. Last year, the share of Russian cars in the total number of pledge vehicles increased by one third (from 9.9 to 13.1%) and Chinese cars share rose from 3.4%to 4.1%.
At the same time, Lada cars continue to lead in the ranking in the “Individual Office – – since the beginning of 2024, it continues to be the most popular way to provide automatic plates. Last year, 11.3% of all automatic plates published in Lada Russia acted as a deposit. Hyundai cars have been leading with a share of 8.6% in recent years – Toyota is the second, 8.2% in the third place. In addition to the three leaders, the top 10 collateral cars in 2024 included Kia, Ford, Nissan, VW, Renault, Chevrolet and BMW brands.
While the positions of traditional foreign car brands in the ranking of hostage vehicles decreased after the departure of these brands from the Russian market in 2022, the total number of pledge cars increased as the number of Russian and Chinese parliamentary equipment in the general Russian fleet increases.
