US accuses India of using petroleum products from Russian oil for export

The US is concerned about the alleged use of India to export oil products made from Russian oil in violation of US sanctions. According to the newspaper’s report, this was stated by Michael Patra, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. Economic Times.

The US has told India that an Indian ship took oil from a Russian tanker on the high seas and sent them to New York after converting it into petroleum products in the Indian state of Gujarat.

“The ship took a destination at sea, took a course and set sail for New York,” Patra reported.
