The State Duma Budget and Taxes Committee approved the government’s amendment to the bill on tax changes, which will transform the resort fee into a tourist tax. This was reported by TASS.
It was reported that this amendment was accepted by the committee in principle. As explained by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Finance Alexey Sazanov, the relevant changes will be made to the draft law on the main directions of tax policy.
