Russia and Turkey were called on to create their own payment systems for bilateral financial transactions. This was stated by RIA News Economic commentator Mustafa Recep Erçin.
According to him, Russian tourists will be able to spend cash in Turkey or make their cards work in the country using the Turkish TROY system.
Ercin says, “However, the restrictions of the West now show that the Russian Federation and Turkey must have a payment system between themselves.”
The economist noted in his meeting with businessmen that many people complained that it had become difficult to work with Russia due to sanctions and that their dissatisfaction was increasing.
Let us also remind you that Turkish exporters have been faced with the situation of banks not accepting money transfers from the Russian Federation since January 1. According to media reports, this is partly due to US pressure on Ankara under its sanctions policy.
Moscow is conducting a dialogue with Turkish authorities on this issue. Ankara does not see the situation as a disaster and is working to resolve it.
Before that in Turkey named Serious problem in bank transfers with Russia.
Formerly Turkish State Bank named Account opening conditions for Russians.
