A column of unmanned systems was first represented at the victory parade in Red Square in Moscow. This element has become one of the prominent innovations in the composition of ceremonial equipment, reports TASS.
As part of this column representing the 7th separate regiment of unmanned troops, the audience banned various unmanned aerial vehicles and ammunition. Among the models shown were “Orlan-10”, “Orlan-30”, Unmanned Complex Zala, Kamikadze Drones Lancet (“Lancet-51 and Lancet-52” changes) and “Garpy” and “Gerani” apparatus.
Traditionally, ceremonial equipment was opened by the legendary T-34 tank, which was considered one of the symbols of the victory in the great patriotic war. In addition, modern weapons such as wheel equipment columns, including universal armored vehicles, as well as modern weapons samples such as S-400 Triumph and Yars mobile missile system progressed along the pavement stones of the red square.
The demonstration of unmanned systems in the parade was against the background of a new unity in the Russian Federation – Unmanned Systems Armed Forces. The creation of this aspect has been announced before and its full formation is planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
