“In general, the production of class 5 gasoline has decreased by 1.7-1.8 percent since the beginning of the year,” the minister said. He noted that the drop in production was due to unplanned repairs at the Nizhny Novgorod and Volgograd oil refineries that have not yet been completed.
Shulginov said that it is possible to achieve market balance thanks to the increase in gasoline production in refineries that are not affected by repairs. In addition, the decrease in fuel exports made it possible to meet the demand in the domestic market.
