The departure of Western companies opens new opportunities for the Russian market, said Rosneft First Deputy Chairman Sergei Menzhinsky, as part of the planning session “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex: New Opportunities for Development” at the Rossiya exhibition and forum.
“The total economic impact of the introduction of new technologies for Rosneft is estimated at more than 150 billion rubles. “The products we previously bought from abroad are now produced by Russian enterprises,” he said.
At the exhibition, Rosneft presented its own innovative technologies and developments that are superior to foreign analogues.
The Rosneft scientific complex is implementing dozens of projects to produce new materials with unique properties (polymers, composites and products based on them), products based on biosynthesis technologies (thickeners and feed proteins that can replace organic analogues).
Additionally, the innovative “Digital Space” project was presented at the Rosneft pavilion at the Russia exhibition. The project allows you to monitor the process of oil production and transportation, control the use of personal protective equipment, control the movement of equipment and personnel throughout the territory of production complexes.
Rosneft also introduced robotic systems for inspecting hard-to-reach equipment areas in the oil refining and petrochemical industries.
