Rada announced record spending from the Ukrainian budget in December 2023

Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported on his Telegram channel that Ukraine’s budget expenditures reached a record level of 398 billion hryvnias (about 10.5 billion dollars) in December.

According to Zheleznyak, December 2023 was a record in terms of budget expenditures in the entire history of Ukraine.

Before that, politician Yulia Tymoshenko, former Prime Minister of Ukraine asked the country’s leadership will propose a plan B to get Ukraine out of the crisis and “rather tragic” situation.
