The increase in Azerbaijani gas exports is linked to the increased demand for blue fuel in Europe in the face of reduced supplies from Russia. Azerbaijan’s share of EU imports is still small, but Baku has been actively increasing volumes in recent months in a bid to replace Russian gas and meet the needs of European consumers.
