Skoltech Energy Transformation and ESG Project Center analyst Sergei Kapitonov expressed the opinion that a gas center in Turkey can be implemented as a virtual platform, but it is not yet worth establishing gas infrastructure there. His words are quoted RIA News.

“The simplest thing, conditionally, is the creation of some kind of virtual platform, like the Dutch TTF center in Europe. This is a certain pricing point on the border of Türkiye and Bulgaria. Turkey is releasing some spot gas there that is not provided by long-term contracts,” Kapitonov said.
