The Russian government has submitted to the State Duma a draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period of 2025 and 2026. This is stated in Message Cabinet

The bill was sent completely electronically for the first time. The order to introduce it was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“When drafting the new three-year budget, the government traditionally moved from the need to fulfill social obligations to citizens and solve the problems outlined by the president,” the statement said.

The draft budget was created on the basis of the basic version of the socio-economic development forecast. This means a transition to strong economic growth of over 2% in 2024.

According to the draft budget, revenues are expected to be 35 trillion rubles in 2024, 33.5 trillion in 2025 and 34.1 trillion in 2026. Expenditures are expected to be 36.6 trillion rubles in 2024, 34.4 trillion in 2025 and 35.6 trillion rubles in 2026. It is planned to allocate 4.4 trillion rubles to unified benefits for families with children, 482 billion rubles to improve housing supply and another 1.6 trillion rubles to pay maternity capital.

More than 1 trillion rubles will be spent on drug supply; Of this, 200 billion rubles will be spent on the development of basic health services, 430 billion rubles on medical care for cancer patients, and 27 billion on diabetes patients. 111 billion rubles to create new places in schools within three years. It is planned to allocate more than 947 billion rubles to support civilian industry and more than 67 billion rubles to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
