Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov said that the country’s strategic foreign exchange reserves are currently estimated at $67 billion. Interfax.
Asadov said, “Since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijan’s strategic foreign exchange reserves have increased by 14.5 percent and reached 67 billion dollars.”
He stated this during the government discussion of Azerbaijan’s draft state budget for 2024.
Asadov said that the country’s President Ilham Aliyev gave the government the task of reducing the annual average inflation to single-digit levels by the end of 2023.
Representative of the President of Azerbaijan for special duties Elchin Amirbekov statedHe said that the draft peace agreement was transferred to Armenia. According to Amirbekov, negotiations in Yevlakh could lead to a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan. The representative of the Azerbaijani leader also noted that the international community should not expect all problems between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians to be resolved with just one diplomatic meeting.
