Bloomberg: EC proposes to delay oil supply ban through Druzhba

The European Commission has sent EU countries a draft of a new oil embargo from Russia, according to which the key Druzhba pipeline will continue to work, reports Bloomberg Referring to a resource at EC.

The European Union has proposed banning seaborne oil from Russia and postponing import restrictions on a major pipeline to meet Hungary’s objections and negotiate a halted sanctions package.

In addition to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia will also be able to solve their fuel supply problems, thanks to the postponement of the closure of the Druzhba.

Former Bloomberg columnists John Follein and Alberto Nardelli declarationSome European leaders are now leaning towards an “indefinite agreement” that would allow supplies to continue through an important pipeline to Hungary and other countries.
