The ministry added that in accordance with the roadmap, Russian gas is now supplied to Uzbekistan under the reverse regime. At the same time, it had previously traveled through the Central Asia-Central gas pipeline from Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting of Russian company chairman Alexei Miller with Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev and Uzbekistan Energy Minister Zhurabek Mirzamakhmudov, the holding’s message dated 17 June specifiedGazprom may start supplying gas to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan from the fourth quarter of 2023.
