Representatives of the film business, fitness industry and automotive industry (in 81-88% of cases) are more likely to refuse micro loans in the Russian domestic market. People in the above industries have the most difficulty getting approved for new loans, informs The newspaper Kommersant cites statistics from analysts at MoneyMan microfinance company.

“Based on five-month 2023 results, microfinance institutions tightened requirements for borrowers employed in the film industry, automotive industry and fitness industries. They got 81-88% of refusals,” the article says.

Microfinance institutions (MFIs) have included catering, hospitality, tourism, services, construction, retail and entertainment in their list of the most risky sectors. The article concludes that representatives of the above professions are slightly less denied microloans – in 67-76% of cases.
