Chinese auto giant FAW Group plans to supply used cars from China to Russia, writes Chinese Automobiles in response to the Changchun Ribao publication.
So, according to information from a Chinese newspaper, a thousand used Volkswagen Jetta sedans are being prepared for delivery to Russia. According to local conditions, foreign manufacturers cannot independently produce their cars in the country. And it is this concern that assembles a number of Volkswagen cars in China. Three-year Jetta on Chinese sites offers from 39.8 to 66.8 thousand yuan (350-590 thousand rubles), the newspaper writes.
FAW also plans to supply 3,750 used cars of the premium brand Hongqi (Hongqi) to Russia.
China has long been brooding on plans to bring used cars to the EAEU countries, but earlier there were higher demands from the Russian authorities. In the current situation, traders have hopes that they will be softened.
