The Moskvich car plant may open dealerships in 23 cities of Russia, according to a statement from the company’s press service, quoted by TASS.

As of Oct. 3, the acceptance of applications to obtain official dealer status for sales and maintenance has been open, the report said.

Dealers appear in the following cities:

  • St. Petersburg
  • Novosibirsk
  • Yekaterinburg
  • Kazan
  • Nizhny Novgorod
  • Chelyabinsk
  • samara
  • Rostov-on-Don
  • Ufa
  • Omsk
  • Krasnoyarsk
  • Voronezh
  • perm
  • Volgograd
  • Krasnodar
  • Izhevsky
  • Naberezhnye Chelny
  • Saratov
  • Stavropol
  • Orenburg
  • Tyumen
  • Kemerovo.

Later, the geography of the dealer network will expand, taking into account plans for the assembly of Moskvich cars. The company plans to establish a developed dealer network capable of servicing the brand’s cars to a high standard.

Since the Moscow plant also plans to produce electric cars, one of the requirements for dealers will be a willingness to “build a suitable infrastructure for their [автомобилей] demonstration, sales and service.
