The LDPR group has made a proposal to alleviate the customs and tax burden on the import of used cars purchased by residents of the Far East. About informs TASS. The relevant call was sent to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“The delegation from the LDPR group has just returned from Sakhalin, this proposal was formulated by local residents, our voters. New cars from factories in central Russia are significantly more expensive than used cars from Japan or China, but import duties make them unacceptably expensive.”
In accordance with this, the Liberal Democratic Party proposed to indulge residents of Sakhalin and the Far East when buying used cars for personal use only. In their application to Mikhail Mishustin, the deputies asked him to develop mechanisms to reduce customs duties and taxes on vehicles imported for personal use, including right-hand drive ones.
