Our editors Largus is a real veteran: 10 years and 140 thousand kilometers – none of our cars can boast of such figures. In short: the flight is normal! The station wagon turns out to be extremely reliable, despite the least sparing operating conditions – Alexey Revin recalls all its nuances in the new issue of the magazine Za Rulem. But at the same time Largus is an “evil mortal”.

For example, it is time to replace the tip of the left tie rod. On the right, this procedure took place another 20 thousand km ago. By itself it is simple, but upon inspection it was found that one anther from the steering mechanism was torn, and on the second – cracks.

You also have to change, but that’s bad luck. It turned out that the diameter of the purchased anthers in the place of mounting the steering gear differs from the required by 10 mm! The new ones have 42mm and the old ones have 50-52mm. An analysis of the situation on the Internet showed that someone stretches the anthers on the bell of the fire extinguisher, someone puts an anther on a thorn of a suitable diameter in the freezer at night, and someone, on the contrary, heats in boiling water! What kind of raw material such a rubber will have is a big question.

Sellers in stores claim that there is such a pandemonium going on with the selection of many other parts for Largus: “this model is a hodgepodge!” As a result, we managed to buy universal repair anthers, which have different landing diameters, and you can get the right one by cutting off the excess, such as fitting shoe insoles.

But the rubber of these anthers is thin. We will observe how they will run, and if problems arise, we will select suitable analogues – which were found in the Nissan line.
