It is stated that Italian engineers, together with the tuners at the Bertone studio, developed this model as a rival to the Porsche 911 and Ferrari. Only 410 of these machines were produced from 1981 to 1988. The copy to be auctioned is preserved in excellent condition.
The car is equipped with a 3.5-liter aluminum engine producing 255 hp, located in the rear of the body. The transmission is a five-speed manual. For more than 40 years, the mileage of the car was only 30 thousand km.
Representatives of the auction house will announce the starting price of the unique car on the eve of the auction.
It happened before that knownIt was stated that the first generation Ford Focus sedan, forgotten in a dealership for 20 years, was sold at auction for 7.9 thousand dollars (724 thousand rubles at the exchange rate at the time of publication).
From 2002 to 2022, the sedan remained in the dealership’s parking lot due to the bankruptcy of the sales company. The car was found and put up for auction. Mileage is 216 km. The vehicle is in satisfactory condition. There are large dents on the hood due to hail, there are scratches on the front panel and there are cigarette burns on the driver’s seat.
Before the sale, extensive maintenance was carried out: timing belt, battery, crankshaft oil seal, fuel pump and filter were replaced, new oil and coolant were added, new tires were installed.
