With the onset of the hot season, a serious load begins to be placed on the climate system in the car, which often leads to its malfunction. In this respect report “Izvestia”, citing Maxim Sokolov, expert of the company “VseInstrumenty.ru”.
“Even being in an overheated car can be harmful to health. In such cases, many drivers may not turn off the air conditioning of their vehicles at all, and therefore the air conditioning system is literally worn out,” he said.
Other challenges a cooling system must deal with during the spring and summer months include dust, lint, small leaves, pollen, and insects that often clog mechanism openings.
According to the expert, overheating of the air conditioner is caused by malfunctions in parts and mechanisms, especially damage to the compressor. Sokolov warned that this could cause the car’s engine to overheat. He also said that the condition of the thermostat is affected by the quality of the coolant and the condition of the cooling system. A faulty thermostat wears out the engine. Additionally, due to insufficient coolant, the system may not be able to cope with the load on the spring. Deficiencies may occur due to damaged hoses or connections. Exceeding the permissible level of freon can also cause overpressure.
Before this, automobile experts saidthat in spring in Russian cities there is an increased risk of pollen getting into car mechanisms, which can cause the car to break down. When contaminants settle on the engine surface, they can reduce cooling efficiency. If they penetrate the oil filter or lubrication system, they can cause engine damage. Dust and dirt settled on brake discs and pads also accelerate their wear and reduce the car’s response to pedal pressure. To solve the problem, auto experts recommended more frequent use of car wash services, as well as protective equipment.
It was previously known all over Moscow will strengthen Control over taxi drivers during holidays.
