Medvedev told how he sold his first Zhiguli

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, telegraph channel told about his first personal car – VAZ-2107.

In his article, he commented on the idea of \u200b\u200btransferring all the authorities to Lada.

“My first car was a white “seven” Zhiguli … I bought it new in 1995 for about 5,000 dollars (I give it in foreign currency, it’s easier because of the exchange rate). There was a pretty good amount. Yes, and the car was well received. Although now Lada is more expensive, the dollar is no longer the same, ”says Medvedev. The purchase was made while Medvedev was serving as Gazprom chairman of the board.

Then, he says, after a while, the car is sold – three times cheaper than the purchase price. “Imagine my surprise in the summer of 2008, when I was offered to buy back my own wrecked car after my election but had already bought it for $15,000,” the politician writes.

Morally, Medvedev concludes, there is “only “LADA” for all officials.

It was reported earlier that the man to whom Medvedev sold the car delivered the “seven” to the “Horsepower” museum. In 2019, it became known that the 1994 VAZ-2107 Zhiguli, owned by Medvedev, went on sale.

Formerly socialbites.ca said It’s about the impressive fleet of top officials of the Soviet Union and Russia.
