BMW electric cars based on the Neue Klasse platform will hit the market in 2025 and the lineup will include a sedan and six crossovers. The SUV in the photo is similar in body size to the current BMW X3. It is assumed that the car will have rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions and its maximum range on a single charge will be 580 kilometers.

Last summer, BMW confirmed that the first model based on the Neue Klasse architecture would be electric. sedan. However, according to some sources, the crossover will be the first model to hit the assembly line in July 2025, and its production will begin at a facility in Debrecen, Hungary. According to BMW CEO Oliver Zipse, the company expects more than half of the brand’s sales by the end of the decade to come from electric cars on the new platform.
