Poland cancels preferential travel for Ukrainian cars on its toll roads

From 1 June, Poland has canceled preferential travel on toll roads for vehicles with Ukrainian numbers. It is reported by “Ukravtoprom”.

According to the publication, after the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the Polish government allowed Ukrainians to travel in cars on local toll roads for free. But three months later Poland decided to cancel this rule. The only exception is cars carrying humanitarian aid. Drivers of such cars may still not pay tolls on the country’s highways.

The amount of payment depends on the category of the vehicle: motorcycle, car, truck. On different roads, the price per kilometer ranges from 0.10 (1.43 rubles) to 0.46 (6.56 rubles) zlotys. Payment points accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro debit cards. In addition, you can pay the fee in cash: Polish zloty, dollar and euro.
