A drunk driver bumped into a schoolboy, picked him up and dropped him several times 14:17

In the Altai Territory, a man knocked over a boy, took him home and dropped him several times, the driver was sent to a colony settlement, informs joint press service of the district courts.

The incident occurred in the Blagoveshchensk region. The drunk driver ran over the student, then picked him up, put him in the car, and drove him home. According to the report, the man fell on the snow several more times while carrying the child home. As a result of the incident, the child was seriously injured.

The driver was charged with violating traffic rules while intoxicated, causing grievous bodily harm and leaving the scene of the accident. The man was found guilty under Art. 2 para. “a, b”. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced to 3.5 years in a colonial settlement. The court also satisfied the legal request for the recovery of 50 thousand rubles as non-pecuniary damage.
