White, gray and black body colors are the most popular among buyers of new Chinese cars in Russia in 2023. Anna Utkina, communications director of the Avtodom and AvtoSpetsTsentr group of companies, told socialbites.ca about this.
“Many of the Chery, Exeed and Kaiyi cars were sold in white and gray. The third most popular color is traditionally black. However, Chinese manufacturers have presented to the market a list of non-standard body color solutions. For the Chery and Exeed brands, for example, purple is the fourth most popular color, followed by blue and red,” said Utkina.
Andrey Kamensky, marketing manager of Avilon AG, told socialbites.ca that 40% of Haval car buyers immediately choose black cars. In second place is a shade of gray (30%). One in five Haval buyers prefer blue, red or light blue, and the share of white cars is 10%.
“For the tank brand, we see a constant demand for traditional body colors: black, white, silver and gray. Buyers of Changan cars often prefer gray, blue and white colors. Black, green and gray are the most popular among customers of the Voyah brand, ”said Kamensky .
