Marathon cops: you won’t believe how long they ran after the offender

A man called the police late in the evening and said that a “seven” was driving from the direction of Aleshnya to Tula, driven by a drunk young man.

Traffic police inspectors went to arrest the offender and after some time caught up with him on Marshal Zhukov Street. The driver ignored the request to stop and sped forward, the pursuit began. At Aleshna, the driver suddenly stopped, jumped out of the car and ran into the field.

Traffic police inspectors Sergei Sanin, Vladislav Borisov and Eduard Dudko ran after him. The offender walked well, but he did not manage to get away from the police “troika”.

After walking more than 8 kilometers (!) over rough terrain, the police officers detained him.

The driver turned out to be an 18-year-old boy who is not authorized to drive a vehicle. Information on the state of intoxication was not confirmed.
