The new Skoda crossover is compact and cheap

The first generation Skoda Fabia was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1999 and has been one of the brand’s bestsellers for more than two decades. Now they want to make a crossover of the model – subcompact, but spacious, technologically advanced and cheap.

The crossover will be built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. The car is currently under development, but an unofficial rendering of the model has already surfaced on the network, suggesting what it might look like.

The artist used the design of the Vision 7S concept, which has a new logo and corporate identity for Skoda. T-shaped headlamps were also added. The silhouette of the car is moderately streamlined and features large windows with a low shoulder line to make the interior lighter and visually more spacious.

Inside, most likely, there will be a digital instrument panel, a large screen of a multimedia system, a head-up display that displays information for the driver on the windshield and a minimum of physical buttons.

And of course it will be an electric car. So far, according to rumors, only one thing is known: the power reserve of the new crossover will be about 400 kilometers.
