In Voronezh, law enforcement stopped a Volkswagen Touareg during a raid after uncovering that the driver had more than 600 unpaid traffic fines. The information was provided by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

The person behind the wheel was a 22-year-old man. The total amount of fines surpassed 600 thousand rubles. It also emerged that the individual owed the bailiffs about 400 thousand rubles for a performance fee linked to past penalties.

The young man was brought to the traffic police department, where officers registered 250 administrative protocols aimed at avoiding the execution of an administrative penalty in accordance with article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The overall debt reached approximately 1.5 million rubles.

Enforcement officers seized the Volkswagen Touareg without a front bumper and transported it to a private parking lot. If the owner fails to settle the outstanding debt, the vehicle is likely to be sold at auction to recover the amount owed.

Earlier reports noted that a Lada driver on the Amur highway accelerated to a record 181 km/h, setting a speed benchmark.
