Venucia D60 Plus, a sedan built on the Nissan Sentra platform and manufactured at the Zhengzhou Nissan facility, has begun sales in Russia. IXEN Motors Rus will oversee the market introduction, according to Avtostat, a specialized analytics agency.
In Russia, the D60 Plus will be offered in four trim levels with prices spanning from 2.54 million rubles to 2.96 million rubles. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that has been used in models such as the Nissan Juke and Qashqai. This engine is rated at 122 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque. Transmission is via a traditional manual gear selector.
Standard equipment for the base configuration includes two airbags, an anti-lock braking system, a stabilization program, and disc brakes. The instrument cluster features a high-resolution display, and the driver’s seat offers six-way adjustment for personalized comfort.
The top configuration adds 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, and side airbags for enhanced safety.
Earlier information indicated that Chery planned to enter the Russian market in 2024 with several new models, including hybrids and electrified options. The automotive landscape in Russia continues to evolve as foreign brands expand their lineups to meet local demand.
