The renowned jewelry maison Tiffany & Co. has unveiled a striking accessory just before the festive season—a table clock designed to mimic a classic racing car.

Drawing inspiration from 1950s grand prix cars, the artisans at Tiffany crafted the chassis from lightweight aluminum and finished it in the brand’s iconic Tiffany Blue. Rubber tires with polished stainless steel spokes and rims are mounted with precision to complete the look.

At the core of each wheel sits a brilliant-cut diamond, while rows of pavé diamonds sparkle along the bezel and engraving plate. A brushed stainless steel window on the left side reveals the hours and minutes, and the clock’s escapement and balance wheel lie beneath a domed glass cover—the centerpiece of this timepiece as a work of art.

Every diamond is hands-placed by skilled craftsmen, ensuring meticulous alignment and radiance. The grille bears Tiffany’s monogram, and the bumper carries a bright numerals “5” nodding to the store’s storied address on Fifth Avenue. Time is adjusted by turning the three-spoke steering wheel counterclockwise, and the clock is wound by rolling the miniature vehicle across a flat surface.

The overall diamond weight totals 19.53 carats, and the piece carries a price tag of 215 thousand dollars. The creation happens in Switzerland, bringing together Swiss craftsmanship with Tiffany’s signature design language.

Subsequent to the main reveal, the brand’s automotive-inspired clock has sparked conversations about luxury, craftsmanship, and collector value within high-end horology communities. Marked as a fusion of art and engineering, it offers a rare glimpse into how traditional jewelry-making techniques can elevate a timepiece into a sculptural object.
