Three smarter ways to buy a used car in Russia, as advised by a leading automobile expert
There are three better ways to buy a used car on the Russian market, notes an automobile expert. The first option is to visit a dealership that offers a warranty on its used vehicles. The second is to work with a car selection professional. Or, even better, enlist two specialists at once. One focuses on the bodywork, spotting where and how repairs have been made. The other concentrates on the engine and chassis. A third practical route is to bring along a friend who knows car repairs for a thorough inspection. At minimum, this friend will know what to look for, according to the expert.
According to the expert, buying a car from the market on your own is not advisable. He also emphasized that when selecting a model, attention should be paid to popular options, as spare parts for these models are readily available.
