These are the latest T-90M Proryv tanks, now deployed with the tank formation of the Central Military District. The fleet showcases a significant leap in capability and reliability, reflecting extensive field testing and real-world operational experience gained in recent drills and deployments across the national defense arena.

Crews have begun practical training, moving from classroom briefings to live-fire drills against both stationary and moving targets. They practice engaging from protected positions as well as exposed ones, and they conduct direct-fire sequences to refine targeting. Accuracy has improved as gunners coordinate with drone-supported spotters to adjust fire in real time.

In the near term, more T-90Ms are expected to join the Brave unit group, strengthening the balance of firepower and mobility. The T-90M Proryv represents the most modern evolution in the T-90 family, first unveiled in 2018 and built on improvements introduced with the T-90A platform.

According to defense reporters and unit commanders cited in reputable outlets, the T-90M Breakthrough stands out due to its ongoing modernization. The upgraded chassis features enhanced monitoring systems, a thermal imaging suite, and a turret designed for easier operation. The commander can switch between roles quickly, from surveillance to aiming and firing, while the systems support the gunner and crew with advanced situational awareness. The tank is praised for its reliability and user-friendly improvements that reduce operator strain during sustained combat operations.
