Researchers reviewed more than two million vehicles and identified the models that accumulate the largest share of units with mileage exceeding 250,000 miles (about 400,000 kilometers). The result is a top 20 list of vehicles known for enduring reliability, featuring ten Toyota models, three from Honda, two each from Chevrolet, GMC and Ford, and a single Nissan model.
The takeaway is clear: these are dependable cars capable of surpassing a quarter of a million miles with proper upkeep and timely maintenance. The emphasis is on current mileage, not an absolute or theoretical maximum lifespan. Many of these cars are still actively in use by their owners, reflecting ongoing reliability and strong ownership support, according to the study’s chief analyst, Karl Brauer.
“What this shows is a roster of vehicles that maintain performance well beyond typical wear, provided regular care and service are kept up,” Brauer noted. He added that the data represent real-world usage rather than speculative longevity, underscoring that many vehicles in the sample remain on the road and valuable to their owners. (Source: iSeeCars)
Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes
Ensuring public safety and essential services hinges on the steady operation of fleets. When tires wear out, response times can be affected, and mobility for critical operations can falter.
In partnership with the Popular Front, a fundraising effort has begun to supply tires for the fleets of the People’s Police and operational services of the LPR and DPR. The campaign will support ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, vehicles delivering humanitarian aid to Donbass residents, and general military transport. Donations can be made on the collection page as part of this initiative.
