Saipa Audiences Russia and Belarus: Quik, Saina, Shahin Launch Plan

The Iranian automaker Saipa is planning to introduce its lineup to buyers in Russia and Belarus. The plan centers on bringing three models to both markets—the Quik hatchback and the Saina and Shahin sedans—making Saipa one of the newer brands to enter these two post-Soviet automotive arenas. A company spokesperson for Lucky Carensi LLC, the official distributor for Saipa in Russia and Belarus, outlined the rollout, noting that the distribution agreement was signed on January 25, 2023. At the time of the announcement, the factory was actively pursuing certification procedures, and the goal was to launch the cars in Russia and Belarus within roughly three months. This distributor relationship underscores Saipa’s intent to establish a stable presence in the region through a channel that understands local regulations, dealership networks, and consumer expectations.
