The confrontation escalated as the Prado allegedly flashed a middle finger, prompting the two vehicles to stop. Reports indicate that after the stop, the Mitsubishi’s window was shattered and the male driver began beating the other woman behind the wheel.

authorities confirmed that the victim was in the ninth month of pregnancy. Due to concerns about potential premature labor, she was transported to the Ural Research Institute for the Protection of Maternity and Infancy for medical evaluation and care.

In Yekaterinburg, officials from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs acknowledged the incident and stated that police were actively investigating the case. A relative of the injured driver expressed fear that the matter could be resolved with only a minimal penalty. The Toyota driver claimed he had been attempting to negotiate and resolve the dispute peacefully for two days before the incident escalated.
