A luxury electric Porsche Taycan has been recovered after a high-profile theft targeting a business executive. The vehicle, which had been stolen from the owner, was later located in the garages of the Moskovsky settlement and, according to the capital prosecutor’s office, was found completely burned.

The incident began when an unidentified thief removed a metal case from the home of the Porsche owner in the village of Bolshoi Svinorye. The assailant then seized the car and set it ablaze. Inside the case were cash, watches, jewelry, and various documents, with total losses surpassing 38 million rubles. The prosecutor’s office for the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts has taken charge of the case and is conducting the investigation.

Information from the Telegram channel Shot indicates that, in another incident, unknown individuals robbed the cottage belonging to a 48-year-old construction company manager. As reported by Telegram channel 112, around six in the morning a person wearing a black mask forced entry by removing a double-glazed window. The stash included 1 million rubles, 1 thousand dollars, and 2 thousand euros, along with gold rings encrusted with diamonds and several expensive timepieces. The details of this robbery are being pursued by law enforcement in the same region, with inquiries into possible links to other recent burglaries.

There has been prior coverage of related punishments tied to similar offenses. In a separate, earlier report, a boss faced a car arson incident tied to refusing a phone call. Local authorities are compiling a broader picture of criminal activity in these communities, seeking to understand whether there is a coordinated scheme or a coincidence of multiple, opportunistic break-ins.

Experts note that the combination of a high-value asset like the Taycan and a substantial cash-and-goods haul paints a clear target for organized theft networks. Investigators are examining surveillance footage, financial traces, and the movements of suspects to determine motive and prepare potential charges. Residents in nearby settlements are being urged to report suspicious activity and to review security measures at homes and garages, especially for properties storing valuable assets. The case underscores the strain such brazen acts place on private security arrangements and the broader questions they raise about urban and rural crime dynamics in the region.

Authorities emphasize that swift, transparent reporting helps accelerate investigations and increases the chances of resolving these cases. While the exact timelines of each event remain under review, the authorities are committed to pursuing all leads. Measures being taken include enhanced patrols in affected districts, closer monitoring of property crime patterns, and coordination with federal agencies to track cross-border or cross-regional criminal networks if they emerge. Citizens are advised to maintain vigilance and to document any losses with receipts and serial numbers to aid future inquiries. The overarching aim is to restore safety and confidence for residents, business owners, and visitors navigating these communities.
