The Peugeot E-3008, the electric-only successor to the brand’s popular crossover, arrives seven years after the second-generation model. The new vehicle is built entirely around electric propulsion and marks Peugeot’s first release on the Stellantis STLA Medium platform. The company notes that the crossover weighs roughly 400 kilograms less than many rivals due to the use of eco-friendly materials in its construction. Measuring about 4.5 meters in length, the E-3008 brings a large 21-inch central display to the cabin and offers a trunk capacity of 520 liters. It will be available in two trim levels and three electric powertrain configurations, giving buyers several ways to balance performance and efficiency.

In the entry section, the electric motor delivers 210 horsepower, with a driving range of about 525 kilometers on a single charge. A twin-motor version produces 326 horsepower and features all-wheel drive, yet still travels roughly the same distance per charge. The top-end variant uses a 230-horsepower electric motor and extends the range to roughly 700 kilometers. Fast charging is supported, enabling a battery from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes, depending on charging conditions.

Production of the Peugeot E-3008 is slated to begin at the Sochaux plant in France, with official sales set to start in February 2024. The model represents Peugeot’s push into a fully electric SUV lineup, signaling the brand’s commitment to electrification across its global markets in North America and beyond.
