The average price for original spare parts from the fuse basket used in repairs for Chinese Chery, Geely and Haval vehicles rose by 9.1% between December and March, according to data from the marketing agency NAPI.

When talking about the fuse basket, the focus is on components needed to restore a vehicle after an accident. This includes items such as bumpers, headlights, radiators and grilles, fenders, wheels, airbags and windshields. NAPI notes that the typical cost of a complete set of original parts for these three popular brands stood at 46.2 thousand rubles in December 2022, rising to 50.4 thousand rubles by March. Within that period, there was a slight drop relative to February, with the average price sliding from 50.7 thousand rubles to 50.4 thousand rubles.

Among the components, rear bumpers experienced the sharpest increase from December to March, climbing by about 26.8 percent. Headlights followed with a 22.4 percent rise, while front bumpers saw a 17 percent uptick and wheel prices climbed by approximately 16.6 percent over the same span.

Earlier reports indicated price growth for Changan in Russia, where three popular crossovers also saw price adjustments. This pattern suggests a broader shift in the cost landscape for post-accident replacement parts among major Chinese brands in the region, reflecting broader market dynamics and supply chain factors that influence pricing decisions for original equipment components.
