The Opel brand, part of the Stellantis group, has unveiled a refreshed Corsa hatchback. The update brings a refreshed rear silhouette, contemporary matrix headlights, and a revised cabin that emphasizes comfort and connectivity, according to the Stellantis press office.
In the updated model, the matrix headlights are tuned for greater precision and safer night driving, using 14 LEDs in the light module instead of the prior eight. This upgrade reduces glare for oncoming drivers while delivering brighter, more uniform illumination. The powertrain lineup has also evolved: the refreshed Corsa now includes mild-hybrid systems with 48-volt starter generators that assist the internal combustion engine, improving efficiency and smoothness. Engine choices include units producing 100 and 136 horsepower, paired with a new dual-clutch automatic transmission for crisper shifts and better response in everyday driving.
The Corsa family also offers two electrified variants, delivering 136 and 156 horsepower respectively. These electrified versions provide official ranges of 357 and 402 kilometers, reflecting Opel’s commitment to offering practical electric mobility for daily use and longer trips alike. Each variant is calibrated to balance performance with efficiency, ensuring a comfortable ride in a compact package that suits urban commutes and weekend outings alike.
Reports from the industry previously indicated that a Chinese manufacturer would introduce a new mainstream tractor to the Russian market, signaling attention to broad commercial vehicle developments and cross-border collaborations that shape the regional automotive landscape.
