The latest Ford Edge marks a new generation with a host of updates. It features bold split headlights and LED daytime running lights that appear to merge with the grille, creating a distinctive front end.
A sculpted line of glass and discreetly concealed door handles emphasize the crossover’s unique design and versatility.
Compared with the prior generation, Ford increases the wheelbase by 100 mm, bringing it to 2950 mm. This change promises a notably airy cabin. The overall length measures exactly 5000 mm, while the width and height stand at 1961 mm and 1773 mm respectively, making the Edge larger in footprint than some rivals like the Toyota Highlander.
Power is offered by the latest EcoBoost 2.0T engine, or a hybrid setup that combines the 2.0T with electric assistance to deliver 275 hp. Official communications note that the new Edge will not be sold in Russia, though orders may be placed from China under a parallel import arrangement.
