Two ARIIC models, the 318 and Gemma, are slated for sale this spring. The ARIIC 318 is a maxi scooter built around a single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 276 cubic centimeters. It delivers 24 horsepower (17.5 kW) at 8,000 rpm and up to 25 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, enabling highway speeds of around 120 km/h. The powerplant uses four valves and is liquid-cooled, with electronic ignition and electronic fuel injection, highlighting reliability and performance in a compact package. During a rigorous test program, ARIIC enthusiasts logged over 6,500 kilometers in just 14 days, including climbs to altitudes above 4,500 meters, underscoring endurance and capability in demanding conditions. The braking system on these scooters emphasizes strong performance, featuring dual front disc brakes with four-piston radially mounted fixed calipers and a large rear disc, which together provide substantial stopping power and the potential for regenerative charging while riding.
