The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross has been upgraded with a more rigid body architecture and refined handling dynamics, elevating overall confidence behind the wheel. Since its introduction in 2019, this model has found strong appeal across Indonesia and has earned steady popularity across ASEAN markets, the Middle East, Latin America, South Asia, and various regions in Africa. The refresh sharpens its visual presence and threading through ride comfort and everyday safety for a wider range of drivers and conditions.

The facelift brings subtle but purposeful changes to the front and rear styling, delivering a tougher, more off-road-inspired silhouette without compromising urban usability. The headlamps feature a distinctive T-pattern, while the direction indicators have moved from beneath the headlamp cluster to sit within the upper lamp assembly, creating a cleaner, more integrated appearance and improving daytime visibility for other road users. The overall fascia conveys greater presence while maintaining practical aerodynamics.

An elongated stance is achieved through increased front and rear overhangs totaling 95 millimeters, and the bonnet gains additional thickness for a more solid, planted feel at speed. A new color option, metallic green, joins the existing palette of pearl white, silver metallic, gray metallic, and black, expanding possibilities for buyers seeking a bold stance or a more understated tone.

Under the skin, the LCV crossover benefits from the latest traction vector control system. This technology enhances cornering by modulating braking force at the front wheels when navigating curves. On slippery surfaces, it applies targeted brake pressure within the bend to reduce understeer and help the vehicle trace the driver’s intended path with greater predictability. Paired with ABS and Dynamic Stability Control, the system contributes to safer, more controlled driving across varying weather and road conditions, from light rain to mixed snow and ice scenarios in appropriate markets.

The updated Xpander Cross is scheduled for production at Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia in Bekasi, West Java, where it serves as the domestic model before distribution to other markets within the ASEAN region. This manufacturing strategy highlights a regional approach to supply, ensuring consistency and timely availability across neighboring countries and beyond, supported by Mitsubishi’s regional engineering and quality standards as explained by company communications and regional press materials.
