Plans to launch the Livan X3 Pro, a new Chinese crossover, in Russia are set for June 15, according to the Telegram channel No Limits, which referenced its sources. The move marks another step in expanding cross-market availability for Livan’s lineup within the region.
In Russia, the Livan X3 Pro carries a price tag of 1.7 million rubles when manufacturer incentives are applied. Without those benefits, the sticker rises to 1,879,900 rubles. The model is known in China as the Maple X3 Pro, a designation that traces back to its 2010 introduction. In terms of size and capability, the Livan X3 Pro aligns with the Renault Sandero Stepway hatchback seen in the Russian market, offering a comparable footprint and practicality.
Key dimensions include a ground clearance of 185 mm, a length of 4005 mm, a width of 1760 mm, and a wheelbase of 2480 mm. The powertrain features a 103-horsepower gasoline engine paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive, delivering a balance of efficiency and everyday usability for country roads and city commutes alike.
Recent developments in Russia around revived brand activity have highlighted expectations for the production timeline of vehicles under the legacy Volga name. Additionally, there is mention that AvtoVAZ introduced an extended sedan variant, the Lada Vesta Aura, in Sochi, signaling a broader push to refresh model lines and capture consumer interest in the domestic market. These shifts together suggest a broader strategic emphasis on modernized, practical sedans and crossovers as Russian buyers respond to evolving automotive options and pricing structures.
