A driver allowed a Mercedes that was being tracked by police to pass a patrol vehicle in a Moscow garden, then blocked the pursuing car. This sequence was reported by the Telegram channel “ChP/Moscow.”
Video captured by a car-mounted camera shows a Mercedes-Benz approaching the officer’s vehicle, honking, and attempting to create an opening by flashing its headlights. Behind it, a police car with flashing lights remains in pursuit.
“Don’t go! Don’t go!” the officers shouted through the loudspeaker from their official vehicle, but the driver still backed off. This move enabled the Mercedes-Benz driver to slip by, effectively concealing the vehicle from immediate pursuit.
Law enforcement teams then gathered at the roadside, responding to the driver’s behavior and instructing him to clear the path. Once the officers complied with safety protocols, the chase resumed as planned.
In a separate note, it was reported that during construction work on the M-12 highway in Tatarstan, two dump trucks reportedly slipped from a slope, underscoring ongoing challenges related to large heavy vehicles in road projects.
