In Russia, the Haval facility in the Tula region focuses on producing the M6 crossover, with information drawn from two independent sources noted by the reports portal Chinese cars.

According to that portal, assembly of the inaugural Haval M6 began near Tula in August, and by year-end the plant aimed to manufacture roughly one thousand units of this model. While there has been no official confirmation that M6 production has started at the Russian factory, the manufacturer currently operates lines for Jolion, F7, F7x, H9, and Dargo in the same area.

The Haval M6 crossover, which has entered the Russian market over the summer, carries a price tag of about 2.2 million rubles. It is anticipated that localization efforts could push the price lower. If the starting point dips below 2 million rubles, the model may be eligible for government support, with an additional 20 percent discount potentially applied to this model.

In the Russian Federation, the Haval M6 is offered in two trim levels. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter engine delivering 143 horsepower (202 Nm) and paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the higher-spec version uses a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic paired with a similar power output.

Reports indicate that Chinese-built vehicles in the region have shown a tendency for higher accident statistics, a factor that consumers and regulators alike monitor closely as the market evolves.
