Haima cars are slated to arrive in Russian dealerships in mid-October, with Vehicle Type Approvals expected to be issued shortly. The announcement came from the distributor MVL Auto, and the news was reported by the Chinese cars portal.
At launch, Russians will have the choice of two Haima models. The first is the Haima 8S crossover, which sits a touch higher than models like the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Geely Atlas Pro that are already familiar in Russia. Its overall length measures 4565 mm and the wheelbase spans 2700 mm. Under the hood sits a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 195 horsepower and 293 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Pricing for the 8S varies from 3.2 million to 3.4 million rubles, depending on the selected configuration.
The second model, the seven-seater Haima 7X, carries a price tag of around 3.6 to 3.8 million rubles based on the trim. Its exterior dimensions show a length of 4815 mm and a wheelbase of 2860 mm. It shares the same turbocharged power unit as the 8S, and it also comes with a warranty that extends to five years or 100,000 kilometers. The distributor indicated an intent to maintain price stability within the declared levels for the first six months on sale.
