From January 9 through January 22, workers at the Gorky Automobile Plant took a scheduled company-wide vacation that year. This period marked a traditional, fully paid leave, coordinated with the firm’s trade union committee.
Meanwhile, several GAZ divisions functioned on standard schedules during the holiday period. For instance, upgrading work will proceed in the assembly and production of automotive components, ensuring progress continues even while some teams are away.
Additional service tasks were planned across all departments, including maintenance, repair, and commissioning. These activities require brief production pauses but are essential to keep the facility operating smoothly when normal output resumes.
