A convoy of cars with gifts departed from the Sambek Heights memorial complex in the Rostov region. The vehicles carried an important cargo — donations for military personnel funded by the New Year collection of the project “Everything for Victory!” organized by the Popular Front. The initiative drew backing from Za Rulem, Russia’s oldest and most popular automotive publication, as well as TV personalities, State Duma deputies, military correspondents, and bloggers. They not only escorted the cargo but also greeted the fighters with holiday cheer, acting as Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens for the troops.
Each SUV delivered items to specific units. The cargo included a mobile sauna, a stove, thermal imaging cameras, anti-drone cannons, summer and winter tires, quadcopters, and individual gifts such as warm hats, buffs, and gloves. Father Frost from Veliky Ustyug also joined the NVO zone supporters, expressing to the army: “We stand with you with all of Mother Russia and hope we will soon share a victory.”
“Every car carries a mobile bath for the boys,” explained Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front. “The stove capacity has been increased by 50 liters to accommodate ten people who can wash comfortably. We are here with them, and you can see for yourself that our guys will be very well taken care of. The cars also carry guitars signed by Dmitry Pevtsov, Yuta, Denis Maidanov and Alexander F. Sklyar — notable figures who support the fighters on the front lines.”
Alongside Father Frost, a number of notable contributors joined the effort, including Stepan Kuzmenko, deputy editor of Za Rulem; Mikhail Kuznetsov; Ruslan Ostashko; Zhanna Ryabtseva; Anna Eremenko, head of the regional branch of the Popular Front in the LPR; Channel One presenters Yulia Baranovskaya and Polina Tsvetkova; Denis Lebedev, a Popular Front representative and a world boxing champion; Zlata Chepurnaya, founder of a Starship Troopers social project and a member of the State Duma expert committee for youth policy; Alexey and Maria Dorokhin, TV show experts on Russia 1; Boris Sychinikov, an orthopedic surgeon and vertebrologist; and military correspondents Dmitry Kulko, Alexei Kruchinin, Ilya Ushenin, Mikhail Chebonenko, Nikolai Dolgachev, Roman Kosarev and other well-known figures.
The New Year’s collection remains open, inviting continued contributions from supporters and readers alike.
